IIM Indore CAT 2026 admit card from 4 November
The Story in Brief
The Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) Indore will release the admit card for CAT 2026 on 4 November. Registered candidates can download it from iimcat.ac.in using their user ID and password.
The CAT 2026 examination will be held on 29 November in three shifts: 8:30-10:30 AM, 12:30-2:30 PM and 4:30-6:30 PM. Each shift will be of two hours.
In other news, a free coaching centre with yoga and meditation classes has opened at the Buddhist Vihar in Ayodhya Nagar for students from classes 1 to 12. Separately, biotechnology students, scientists and startups can apply for financial support of up to Rs 50 lakh through BIRAC's BIG scheme, with applications typically invited in January and July. Jamia Millia Islamia has also introduced SWAYAM online courses into its curriculum for the first time.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The CAT 2026 admit card release on 4 November gives candidates just over three weeks to prepare for the 29 November test. The three-shift format accommodates over two lakh aspirants across India. Jamia's move to integrate SWAYAM courses lets students earn credits from optional subjects without extra classroom time. The free coaching centre in Ayodhya Nagar addresses a gap for under-resourced students, though it currently has only 15 enrolments. Applicants for BIRAC's biotech grants will need to watch the website for the next application window, as the notification date has not been set.
