NTA opens SWAYAM July semester registration for 662 courses
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened online registration for the SWAYAM July semester 2026 examinations, covering 662 courses. Applications began on 9 October and will close on 31 October, with fee payment accepted until 1 November. The Computer Based Test will be held from 8 to 12 December 2026, with each session lasting three hours.
Candidates can apply through the official SWAYAM examination portal. The NTA advises applicants to review the Information Bulletin for fee structures and exam scheme. Examination city details and admit card release dates will be announced later on the official website.
Applicants facing technical issues can contact NTA helplines or email [email protected].
Indian Opinion Analysis
With 662 courses on offer, the July semester registration covers a broad academic range, but the tight window, applications close on 31 October, leaves candidates little time to decide. The computer-based test, spread over five days in December, will require students to check the course-wise schedule in the notification, as each subject has its own exam date. The NTA has not yet announced the examination city intimation or admit card release dates, keeping applicants dependent on the portal for updates.
