Indian boxers win 7 golds on Day 10 of CWG 2026

Indian boxers finished the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow with seven gold and three silver medals on Saturday, August 16. The boxing gold medalists include Preeti Pawar, Jaismine Lamboria, Sakshi Chaudhary, Priya Ghanghas, Arundhati Choudhary, Sachin Siwach, and Ankush Panghal. Silver medals went to Jadumani Singh Mandengbam, Lovlina Borgohain, and Narender Berwal.

In athletics, Gulveer Singh won a historic bronze in the men's 5,000m, adding to his earlier silver in the 10,000m. He became the first Indian man to win a Commonwealth Games medal in the 10,000m. Australia's Kurtis Marschall set a new Games record in men's pole vault at 5.85m.

India won 16 medals overall on Day 10, including golds in judo, weightlifting, and para athletics. The medal tally placed India in fourth position. The final day of the Games on Sunday will feature remaining medal events.
