Kashmiri legal scholar to teach at King’s College London

Professor Wasiq Abass Dar has been selected as Visiting Faculty at the Centre for Transnational Legal Studies (CTLS) in London, hosted by King's College London, for the Autumn/Fall 2026 semester. He will teach courses on International Investment Law and International Commercial Arbitration.

Prof. Dar, currently Associate Professor and Associate Dean at Jindal Global Law School in India, was chosen after a competitive two-stage process involving screening and interactive interviews. He previously held visiting appointments at Cornell Law School and King's College London, and has practical experience in high-value commercial arbitration.

He has also been invited as a speaker at the 2026 Brunel Summer Programme on International Arbitration at Brunel University London this September. Greater Kashmir reports that his selection marks another international academic recognition for a scholar from Kashmir.
