Kuldeep Yadav takes 3/29 as Delhi Capitals beat KKR by 40 runs

Kuldeep Yadav returned with a stunning three-wicket haul and KL Rahul smashed a 30-ball 60 as Delhi Capitals defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 40 runs in their final IPL league match on Sunday. After Ajinkya Rahane opted to bowl, Rahul hit five fours and four sixes to power Delhi to 203/5.

Kuldeep, who had gone wicketless in his previous three matches, removed Cameron Green cheaply before dismissing Rahane (63) and Rinku Singh off successive deliveries. He nearly took a hat-trick but Abhishek Porel dropped the catch. KKR were bundled out for 163 in 18.4 overs, their seventh defeat of the season.

Mitchell Starc took 2/26 and Lungi Ngidi 3/27 for Delhi. KKR finished seventh with six wins from 14 matches. Rahul's fifty was his sixth of the season. Delhi ended sixth in the standings with seven wins and seven losses.
