Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq launched with BaaS price from Rs 11.45 lakh

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the updated BE 6 Sporteq with a Battery-as-a-Service option starting at Rs 11.45 lakh, news.abplive.com and businesstoday.in report. Without BaaS, prices range from Rs 19.45 lakh to Rs 26.95 lakh. The BaaS scheme is available only on the 59kWh battery variants, with usage charged at Rs 3.45 to Rs 3.75 per km depending on the source.

The car gets new 59kWh, 70kWh and 79kWh battery options. Inside, there is a redesigned centre console, a tan interior colour scheme, and a third screen on higher variants. Features include Google Gemini integration via Mahindra's MAIA platform, a custom tailgate message display, ADAS, auto park, and a 540-degree camera. A Formula E Freedom Edition offers Acceleration Boost with a 0-100 km/h time of 6.44 seconds, ndtvprofit.com adds.

The formula E edition was also displayed at the London E-Prix alongside Mahindra Racing's GEN4 show car. Deliveries of the BE 6 Sporteq are scheduled to begin on August 26. OTA updates to bring similar software features to existing BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S owners will start from January 2027.
