ഇന്ത്യന് സൈക്കിയാട്രിക് സൊസൈറ്റിയുടെ (IPS) കേരള ശാഖ, സര്ക്കാര് മാനസികാരോഗ്യ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങള്ക്ക് മനോരോഗ വിദഗ്ധരെ തലവന്മാരായി നിയമിക്കാനും 2013 ലെ സംസ്ഥാന മാനസികാരോഗ്യ നയം മാനസികാരോഗ്യ പരിരക്ഷാ നിയമം 2017 മായി യോജിപ്പിച്ച് മാറ്റാനും സംസ്ഥാന സര്ക്കാരിനോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. ഒരു സംഘം ഈ ആവശ്യങ്ങള് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്ക് സമര്പ്പിച്ചു.
