NBK112 not shelved, team denies speculation on project

The team behind Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Koratala Siva’s upcoming film, tentatively called NBK112, has denied rumours that the project has been shelved. The film was officially launched in Amaravati in June, but plans to begin shooting in August were delayed after Balakrishna suffered an injury while filming NBK111 with Gopichand Malineni.

TeluguCinema.com reports that the team issued a statement on social media asking people not to believe rumours, confirming the project is “very much happening” and will start shooting after NBK111 wraps. The outlet adds that Koratala Siva had initially been waiting to work on "Devara 2" with NTR, but approached Balakrishna with a different story after NTR’s schedule filled up.
