Pakistani crowd seen looting cake at Independence Day celebration

A video of a Pakistani crowd allegedly looting a 100-kg cake during an Independence Day celebration has gone viral on social media. The incident is said to have taken place on August 14, with Defence Minister Khawaja Asif present to cut the cake.

The crowd reportedly lost control as soon as the cake was cut, with people jumping on each other and using plates to grab as much cake as possible. The cake was finished in about 10 minutes. Social media users reacted with mockery and embarrassment, calling the behaviour 'next-level embarrassing'.
