Pavana Gowda plays tough cop in suspense thriller Dear Husband

Pavana Gowda, known for films such as Gombegala Love and Jatta, will play a North Karnataka-based police officer in the upcoming suspense crime thriller Dear Husband. This marks her first role as an investigating officer.

Directed by Gururaj Kulkarni, the film also stars Suraj Gowda, Sharanya Shetty and Kumar Bangarappa. Pavana said the character brings out the challenges faced by a responsible woman police officer and that the film includes strong dialogues and major action sequences.

Produced under the G9 Communications and Media banner, Dear Husband has music by Veer Samarth and cinematography by PKH Das. The film is set for a year-end release and will be shot in Bengaluru, Mandya, Goa and other locations.
