At that meeting, Goyal called for faster industrial corridor projects, alignment with PM GatiShakti, and integrated area development. The National Industrial Corridor Programme now has 20 projects across 13 states and 7 corridors. Four smart cities have entered production, with 469 plots allotted and an estimated investment potential of around Rs 2.21 lakh crore.
