Poco M8 Power review: AMOLED shines, but performance and battery lag

Poco's M8 Power smartphone, priced from Rs 24,999 in India, features a 6.9-inch AMOLED display and an 8,000 mAh battery. Times Now reports the device has a plastic body, weighs 225 grams, and comes with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset and 128 GB storage. The review notes the display is vibrant and bright, but the mono speaker and haptics are disappointing.

Hindustan Times highlights the AMOLED screen as the primary selling point, calling the processor underpowered for the Rs 25,000 segment. The reviewer observed stutters even during simple tasks and noted the mono speaker struggled at high volume. In battery tests, the M8 Power ran for 16 hours 13 minutes, less than the Motorola G37 Power with a smaller 7,000 mAh battery, which lasted 17 hours 26 minutes.

Both reviews agree the display is excellent but the overall package is let down by performance and audio. Times Now found gaming stable at HD graphics, while Hindustan Times called the haptics unpleasant. The phone supports dual SIMs, microSD expansion, and has an IP65 rating.
