Prabhas’ Spirit may open with unconventional jail entry

The upcoming Pan-India film Spirit, starring Prabhas and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, may begin with an unusual jail sequence rather than a conventional mass introduction, according to m9.news. The opening reportedly shows a prison disturbance that panics criminals, not because of a fight, but simply at the mention of Prabhas's character's name. The officer is said to enter calmly in uniform, listening to classic Hindi songs.

Telugucinema.com reports that speculation about Korean star Don Lee as the antagonist and Megastar Chiranjeevi playing Prabhas's father is incorrect. Sources say no major additions to the cast are planned beyond the already announced principal cast: Prabhas, Triptii Dimri, Prakash Raj and Vivek Oberoi. A possible cameo by a Bollywood actress has not yet been finalised.
