Pulkit Samrat loses 2.5 kg muscle due to malaria, shares recovery post

Bollywood actor Pulkit Samrat has said he is battling malaria, which led to a loss of 2.5 kg of muscle and a fair amount of strength. The Fukrey star shared a selfie on Instagram Stories on Monday and wrote: 'Malaria took a little more out of me than I expected. Lost 2.5 kg of muscle and a fair bit of strength. But I know this body. We’ve built it before. We’ll build it again.'

Bollywood Hungama and the Assam Tribune both report that the actor remains determined to regain his fitness. Samrat, known for his disciplined workout routine, has not shared a timeline for his full recovery.

The actor was last seen in the web series Glory and the film Suswagatam Khushamadeed. He often posts updates on his health and fitness regimen on social media.
