Rajasthan to recruit for 2,400 govt posts, notification soon
The Story in Brief
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board will soon issue advertisements for three major recruitments to fill around 2,400 government posts in the UDH, Water Resources, Education and Finance departments. The openings include 1,200 posts for Physical Training Instructors, 900 for junior engineers and 300 for tax assistants.
Board chairman Alok Raj said preparations for all three recruitments are complete. Candidates aged 18 to 40 will be eligible. The notification for junior engineer posts is expected by 15 November, while the other two notifications will follow after the Model Code of Conduct is lifted.
A written test will be held first, followed by document verification based on merit. Successful candidates will then be appointed. Applications will be accepted on the board's official website after the notifications are released.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The recruitment drive targets nearly 2,400 vacancies across four departments, with Physical Training Instructors making up half the posts. The staggered notification schedule, junior engineers by 15 November, the others after the code of conduct is lifted, means applicants for different posts face different timelines. Candidates should watch for the board's official website for each notification and eligibility criteria, as separate educational and technical qualifications will be prescribed for each category.
