Rajnath Singh slams Rahul Gandhi for attacking PM Modi

Defence minister Rajnath Singh has criticised Rahul Gandhi for his choice of words while attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling the decline in political discourse 'worrisome and shameful'. Singh said it was especially disturbing because Gandhi is the leader of opposition in Lok Sabha.

Speaking at the launch of former vice president M Venkaiah Naidu's Hindi biography, Singh recalled Naidu's wit and humour in handling tricky situations and said it should serve as a learning experience for all. BJP chief Nitin Nabin said Naidu's life story, rising through party ranks to become VP, shows that commitment and hard work can help a person move forward.
