Ranveer Singh thanks Ambani family for backing Dhurandhar during tough phase

Ranveer Singh has spoken about the challenges he faced before and during the making of his film Dhurandhar, thanking the Ambani family for supporting the project. In an interview for a Reliance documentary, the actor said that both he and director Aditya Dhar were going through a difficult period when they took up the film, and that executing it was a demanding task.

Telugu360.com reports that Singh described the backing from Jio Studios and the Ambani family as a blessing, noting that they stood by the project when some of his previous films had not performed well. IndiaTVnews.com adds that Singh appeared in a Reliance documentary on the channel Reliance Updates, where he called his association with the Ambani family a stroke of good fortune.

Singh acknowledged that a film career has ups and downs, saying in Hindi, "Career hai, upar-neeche chalta hai." Dhurandhar was mounted on a large scale and required considerable commitment from the team. The actor said he accepted the nature of the industry and that Dhurandhar became an important project after a period of underperformance.
