Reliance, Rolls-Royce team up for AMCA combat engine

Reliance Industries and Rolls-Royce announced a strategic partnership to develop India's indigenous combat engine for the fifth-generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft programme. The Hindu Businessline reports that the announcement comes as the government is yet to decide on co-production of a domestic fighter jet engine to achieve self-reliance in military aviation propulsion.

ONGC has secured a licence from the US Treasury's OFAC to resume full operations in Venezuela, removing a key hurdle for its investments. Director-finance Anupam Agarwal said the company now has full freedom to work on the Venezuela project, with earlier sanctions-related risks now behind them.

Kalpataru Projects International secured new orders worth Rs 3,526 crore, including an EPC order for an industrial plant in India and projects in transmission and distribution and residential building segments. BEML received a USD 6.65 million order from Mauritius for hydraulic excavators for deployment across key African markets.
