Revanth accuses KTR of chasing away sister Kavitha

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has accused BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao of driving away his sister K. Kavitha to avoid sharing the property amassed by their father and former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. Speaking at public meetings in Mulugu and Parkal, Revanth Reddy drew a contrast with his own treatment of Panchayat Raj minister Dasari 'Seethakka' Anasuya, saying the Congress had rewarded her with a ministry for her hard work, while Rama Rao had pushed out his sister to keep the property for himself.

The Chief Minister criticised Chandrashekar Rao for remaining a silent witness, likening him to Dhritarashtra from the Mahabharata, and said he stayed in his farmhouse while Kavitha was shown the door. Revanth Reddy also repeated his allegation that BRS leaders had sold blood donated during a drive launched by Rama Rao to demand water for the Kaleswaram lift irrigation scheme. He claimed the blood collected from poor workers was sold to private hospitals for profit. This is the second time the Chief Minister has made this allegation, both Rama Rao and Harish Rao have not responded.
