Revanth Reddy accuses KCR of family rule, challenges debate

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has accused former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of dispensing 'family justice' that only benefited his relatives, while the Congress government delivers 'social justice' for all sections. Speaking at public meetings in Mulugu and Parkal, Reddy challenged KCR, KTR, and Harish Rao to a debate in the September assembly session on the Congress government's performance against the nearly 10-year BRS regime. Deccan Chronicle reports Reddy also alleged that BRS leaders sold blood collected from poor workers during a KTR-led donation drive to private hospitals, an allegation that KTR and Harish Rao have not responded to.

Reddy drew comparisons between his treatment of minister Dasari 'Seethakka' Anasuya as a sister, rewarding her with a ministry, and KTR allegedly driving away his own sister K Kavitha to avoid sharing property. Times of India quotes Reddy saying KCR made his daughter an MP then MLC, and his son-in-law an MP, while Reddy appointed a Dalit MP and a woman MLA. Reddy also indirectly attacked Harish Rao, calling him 'Aghora Rao' and accusing him of performing occult rituals to bring down the Congress government.
