Salaar 2 production to begin in 2027: report

The makers of the Prabhas-starrer Salaar 2 have decided to complete the film's remaining shoot in 2027, according to 123telugu.com. The action sequel, directed by Prashanth Neel, has already wrapped some portions of filming.

Director Prashanth Neel is expected to finish Salaar 2's production in 2027. It remains to be seen whether he will first complete the two-part NTR-Dragon project, which is also on his slate. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan alongside Prabhas.

Hombale Films is producing the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster. A release date has not yet been announced.
