Salman Khan vows action against paparazzi over back shots
Superstar Salman Khan has vowed to take strict action against paparazzi and platforms that continue taking back shots of actresses without consent, he said on Bigg Boss 20. The actor, who had earlier advised women to slap photographers, told guest Neha Dhupia that some women and men pay paparazzi to get such photos clicked. 'There are also some women and some guys who call them, pay for them, they ask them to do this,' he said.
Salman said some photographers had increased the practice despite his earlier reprimand and that some big platforms were involved. He added that he would take full action. Neha Dhupia thanked the actor for raising the issue. Salman's earlier comments on the show had drawn praise from several celebrities.
Indian Opinion Analysis
Both outlets report the same core: Salman Khan vowing action and alleging some women pay paparazzi for back shots. Times Now leads with Salman's stand and his advice to slap, framing it as advocacy, mid-day is a straight news report with no editorial gloss. Neither outlet questions or independently verifies the actor's claim about payments. The balanced take is that Salman has made a promise of action without specifying any timeline or measure, and his allegation about paid shots has not been corroborated.
