South Indian Bank Junior Officer Recruitment 2026 Notification Released
South Indian Bank has released a notification for the recruitment of Junior Officers (Operations). Eligible candidates can apply online from 16 October to 27 October 2026. Applicants must have a graduation degree with at least 50% marks and a minimum of two years of experience in a bank or NBFC. The maximum age limit is 28 years as of 30 September 2026, with a 5-year relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
Selected candidates will be appointed on a three-year contract with an annual CTC of Rs 5.14 lakh. The selection process includes a Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview. The recruitment covers locations in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Maharashtra and Goa. Candidates must verify domicile requirements for their chosen location. The official website for applications is southindianbank.bank.in.
Indian Opinion Analysis
This recruitment offers a contract role with a modest annual CTC, reflecting the banking sector's shift towards temporary hiring. The 11-day application window and state-specific domicile conditions may limit the applicant pool, favouring candidates already residing in the listed states. The bank's right to modify the selection process based on application volume leaves some uncertainty for aspirants. The next step is to apply before the 27 October deadline.
