Tamannaah Bhatia frustrated with item song offers

Tamannaah Bhatia has expressed frustration over being approached mainly for item songs rather than challenging acting roles, TeluguCinema.com reports. The actress wants filmmakers to look beyond her image and offer characters that allow her to explore as an actor. She believes cinema is evolving and actors need to approach intimate scenes with maturity when the narrative demands them.

Bhatia maintained a strict no-kissing policy for much of her career before breaking it with "Lust Stories 2" in 2023. Her presence in Telugu cinema has since reduced, with fewer acting offers. Her recent appearance in Sampath Nandi's "Odela 2" performed poorly at the box office.

The actress said she does not want fear or hesitation to hinder her growth. She now focuses on making more meaningful career choices and taking up roles beyond glamour and special appearances.
