Tata Power launches 24×7 digital centre to monitor renewable assets

Tata Power Renewables has launched CREAMS, a 24×7 digital command centre, at its Trombay plant on August 20. The Centre for Renewable Energy Analytics, Monitoring & Scheduling provides real-time monitoring, analytics, forecasting and performance optimisation for the company's solar and wind assets spread across multiple states.

The facility offers a unified view of the renewable energy portfolio, enabling round-the-clock surveillance and corrective action. It processes vast operational data daily to support energy forecasting, grid scheduling and asset health monitoring. Officials said the centre helps maximise power generation, improve reliability, ensure regulatory compliance and reduce losses.

With India's renewable capacity expanding rapidly, Tata Power describes CREAMS as a key pillar for efficient grid integration and reliable green power delivery. The centre reflects the growing role of technology and data-driven decision-making in the country's clean energy transition.
