Three killed in Jalandhar road accident, two from Srinagar

Three persons, including two residents of Srinagar, were killed in a road accident in the Bhogpur area of Jalandhar, Punjab, on Wednesday, officials said. Three others sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital.

According to officials, the accident occurred when a speeding Maruti Fronx collided with a roadside vendor before crashing into a tree. The vendor, a Punjab resident, also died. The injured occupants are all from Srinagar.
