Three Visakhapatnam athletes picked for national youth meet in Punjab

Three athletes from Visakhapatnam have been selected to represent Andhra Pradesh at the 21st National Youth Athletics Championship in Punjab. V. Shyam Bhagavan (110m hurdles), K. Karthikeya (long jump) and B. Pravallika Reddy (400m) will compete at Guru Nanak Stadium from October 1 to 3, 2026.

Visakhapatnam Athletics Association president Gana Babu and the association's chief patron, an MLA, congratulated the athletes and expressed hope that they would return with medals. The Athletics Association of Andhra Pradesh has also extended its wishes for success at the national event.
