UDAAN MUN 1.0 at Vikrant University, Gwalior on 23 to 24 October
Sarvajanik Pariwar Kalyan & Sewa Samiti (SPK&SS) will hold UDAAN MUN 1.0, a Model United Nations conference, at Vikrant University in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, on 23 and 24 October 2026. The event is open to students and young individuals interested in diplomacy, law, international relations, public policy, governance, debate, journalism and leadership.
Committees include the UN Human Rights Council, Lok Sabha, All India Political Parties Meet, Bharatiya Mahila Sansad, UN Security Council, International Press and Bigg Boss. Agendas cover human rights impact of cross-border military operations, religious polarisation and India’s constitutional framework, integrity of examination systems, women’s safety, nuclear proliferation and media ethics. Registration is open.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The conference combines standard MUN committees with domestically focused ones like Lok Sabha and AIPPM, signalling an effort to engage participants in India-specific policy and constitutional debates. The inclusion of Bigg Boss as a committee agenda is unusual for a MUN and may attract broader student interest, though it risks diverting attention from the substantive diplomatic and legal simulations. The next step for interested students is to register before the event dates.
