Unmadham ends as Kunchacko Boban’s second flop of 2026

Koimoi.com reports that Kunchacko Boban's Malayalam film Unmadham has ended its theatrical run as a box-office failure. The psychological thriller, directed by Kiran Das, earned a net of Rs 3.83 crore in India and a worldwide gross of Rs 4.52 crore. The film was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 3-6 crore.

Unmadham opened with Rs 0.7 crore and completed its run in just two weeks. It lost screens to Vismaya Mohanlal's Thudakkam and Lokesh Kanagaraj's DC. This is Boban's second solo lead flop in 2026; his earlier film Oru Durooha Saahacharyathil netted Rs 1.86 crore.

The film also stars Lijomol Jose, Siddique, Sabumon, and others. It was released on July 31 and backed by Panorama Studios.
