Anurag Kashyap says Shubhra Shetty does not believe in marriage

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has said he is happy in his nearly decade-long relationship with Shubhra Shetty, but marriage is not currently settled because she does not believe in it. Speaking to Janice Sequeira, Kashyap said he wants to remain with her and is willing to accept whatever comes as long as they do not lose their relationship.

Hindustan Times and Times Now News report that the couple also discussed the scrutiny over their 20-year age difference. Kashyap said he had become self-conscious as he grew older while Shetty continued to look the same, and admitted that he had once tried to push the relationship away. Shetty said Kashyap became emotional when she described love as a bucket-list experience. Kashyap, 53, and Shetty, who is in her 30s, were first publicly linked in 2015. He previously married Aarti Bajaj and Kalki Koechlin.
