Bruce Willis appears at daughter Tallulah’s wedding amid dementia

Bruce Willis made a rare public appearance at his daughter Tallulah Willis's wedding to musician Justin Acee on August 8 at her home in Sun Valley, Idaho. The 71-year-old actor, who has largely stayed out of public view since his dementia diagnosis, attended the intimate backyard ceremony dressed in a short-sleeved linen shirt and straw hat.

Hindustan Times and Times Now both report that Willis, who retired from acting in March 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia, has frontotemporal dementia, a condition affecting personality, behaviour and language. His family disclosed the progression in February 2023. Photos from the wedding, shared by Vogue on August 14, show Willis with his daughter and son-in-law, marking a rare family moment.

Willis shares three daughters with ex-wife Demi Moore and two daughters with wife Emma Heming Willis, who has become his caregiver. Heming Willis said in a January podcast that she is grateful he has not connected the dots about his diagnosis, calling it a blessing.
