CJP launches School Thik Karo campaign, demands private school fee cap

CJP convenor Abhijeet Dipke has warned of a protest if a school principal accused of alcoholism is not removed by Tuesday, NDTV Profit reported. He also launched the ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign from his native village Santuk Pimpri in Hingoli district, The Federal reported.

Dipke inspected a Zilla Parishad school and found broken windows, inadequate benches, and toilets without water supply. He demanded capping of private school fees, alleging they charge Rs 1-1.5 lakh. He claimed over 94,000 government schools have been shut in the past decade to benefit private ones.

The CJP plans similar campaigns on health conditions at public hospitals, where Dipke alleged patients sleep on floors and wait up to a week for CT scans. He called for youth from rural areas to question fund utilisation.
