Congress protests in Jammu over poster linking Rahul, Akhilesh to terrorism

J&K Congress chief Tariq Hamid Karra led a protest Saturday in Jammu against a BJP poster that he alleged linked Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav with terrorism. The poster circulating on social media shows Gandhi and Yadav in the top frame, the Thackeray brothers in the middle, and alleged terrorists in the bottom frame with captions asking about caste, language and religion, Karra said.

Karra accused the BJP of trying to create an impression that the Congress and its leaders are connected to militancy. He asserted the Gandhi family does not need patriotism certificates from the BJP, whose mentors he described as British sycophants and supporters of the two-nation theory that led to Partition. The protest comes during the Congress's Chaupal Pe Charcha outreach programme addressing statehood restoration, unemployment and price rises.
