David Dhawan turns 75 with Salman Khan and family

Filmmaker David Dhawan celebrated his 75th birthday on Sunday with an intimate gathering attended by actor Salman Khan and his family. Writer-director Rumy Jafry shared pictures on social media showing Salman in a cowboy hat alongside David and his sons Varun and Rohit Dhawan.

Varun Dhawan called his father “the chillest dad” in an Instagram post. David has directed several hit films with Salman, including Judwaa, Biwi No. 1 and Chal Mere Bhai. His last film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, starring Varun, released in June 2025.
