Deepti Sharma leads Sunrisers Leeds to Hundred 2026 final

Deepti Sharma's Sunrisers Leeds beat Southern Brave in the Eliminator at the Oval to reach the Hundred 2026 final. Deepti took a wicket and scored an unbeaten 28 off 22 balls to guide her side to a five-wicket win. Leeds will face Trent Rockets in the final at Lord's on Sunday, August 16.

With 13 wickets from nine matches, Deepti is the highest wicket-taker in the competition. Only Trent Rockets' Sam Bates, with 11 wickets from eight games, can overtake her. Deepti has been a key player for Leeds, who were revamped after IPL owners invested in the franchise.

Deepti previously played for London Spirit in 2021 and 2024, winning the title in 2024. She opted out of the 2025 edition to manage her workload before India's ODI World Cup win, where she was player of the tournament. Leeds lost the final to Trent Rockets on August 16.
