Game Changers Lions win World Padel League title

Game Changers Lions defeated Aussie Mavericks Jaguars 19-10 in the final to win their first World Padel League title in Mumbai. The Lions took the opening set 6-3 and won the second set 6-2 through Federico Mourino and Teodoro Zapata. The Jaguars fought back in the third set, but the Lions held on to take it 7-5.

Earlier on Saturday, the Lions beat Vedanta Leopards 16-13 in the semi-final. The Jaguars edged VB Realty Cheetahs 15-11 in the other semi-final. The Lions' Paula Josemaria and Beatriz Gonzalez won the opening set against the Leopards, and Sanyo Gutierrez and Gonzalo Alfonso sealed the decider 6-3.

The Jaguars' Claudia Jensen and Alejandra Alonso took the opening set of their semi-final. Jon Sanz and Jesus Moya levelled for the Cheetahs. Pol Hernandez and Guille Collado won the deciding set 6-2 for the Jaguars to set up the final against the Lions.
