आंध्र प्रदेश के सरकारी स्कूलों का नामांकन हिस्सा 2025-26 में 41.40 प्रतिशत से बढ़कर 2026-27 में 42.34 प्रतिशत हो गया। यह छह साल में पहली बढ़ोतरी है। पूर्ण नामांकन 34.93 लाख से घटकर 34.62 लाख रह गया। निजी स्कूलों का नामांकन अधिक तेजी से गिरा। कुल छात्र संख्या 84.37 लाख से घटकर 81.76 लाख हो गई।
