दिल्ली सरकार ने इस वर्ष से कक्षा नौ के विद्यार्थियों के लिए व्यावसायिक शिक्षा और तीसरी भाषा अनिवार्य कर दी है। गणित और विज्ञान की उन्नत परीक्षाएं वैकल्पिक हैं। पास होने के लिए प्रत्येक विषय में 33 प्रतिशत और वार्षिक परीक्षा में 25 प्रतिशत अंक जरूरी हैं। ये बदलाव राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के अनुसार हैं।
