Real estate developer House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) plans to open about 40 boutique resorts under its Miros brand over the next five years. President of hospitality Ranvir Bhandari told Livemint the company currently runs two such resorts in Goa and expects to have six by the end of the financial year. Most properties will have 18-20 rooms and be luxury-led, though larger hotels may be built where demand supports them.

Miros resorts will focus on personalised service and experiences rather than conventional star ratings, competing with chains like The Postcard Hotels & Resorts. New properties are planned in the Matheran foothills and along the Konkan coast, while resorts in Ayodhya and Alibaug are expected to open by March 2026. HoABL also has a larger luxury hotel in Ayodhya being built in partnership with The Leela Palaces, scheduled to open by March 2028.

The company sees hospitality as a way to stay involved in its plotted real estate projects beyond selling land. HoABL had earlier announced plans to invest Rs 1,500-2,000 crore in five luxury hotels in spiritual and tourism cities. Spectra Hospitality founder Navneet Nagpal said the challenge is finding 40 distinct locations and enough skilled staff to deliver consistent high-touch service.
