Indian tanker captain recounts 75 days stranded in Iran war zone

The crew refused an order to carry out a ship-to-ship cargo transfer after seeing a nearby vessel attacked. Fear peaked when an explosion shook their ship, less than a mile away. Kapoor says the uncertainty and stress devastated the crew, but they relied on routine and each other to cope. They eventually returned home after the conflict allowed safe passage.
