ಕೇರಳ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ರಮೇಶ್ ಚೆನ್ನಿತಲಾ 'ಮೈ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್' ಸುಧಾರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15 ರಂದು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಜ್ಯದ 484 ಕಾನೂನು ಮತ್ತು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ 419 ಠಾಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉಪನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ ಹೌಸ್ ಆಫೀಸರ್ ಆಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಉಳಿದ 64 ಠಾಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವೃತ್ತ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕರು ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
