MP Ladli Behna Yojana 39th instalment expected soon

Beneficiaries of Madhya Pradesh's Ladli Behna Yojana are waiting for their 39th instalment of Rs 1,500, which has not yet been deposited as of August 16. Livemint reports that funds are usually credited by the 15th of each month. There is speculation that the state may release the amount ahead of Raksha Bandhan on August 28, and some reports suggest an additional Rs 250 could be included, though the state government has not officially confirmed this.

Last month, the state transferred Rs 1,835 crore to over 1.25 crore beneficiaries under the scheme's 38th instalment, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said on July 12. The scheme, launched in 2023, provides monthly financial assistance of Rs 1,500 to eligible women aged 21 to 59 who are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh, do not pay income tax, and hold no government job. Beneficiaries can check payment status on the official portal.
