MEA seeks two legal consultants, apply by August 2026

The Ministry of External Affairs has invited applications for two Consultant (Legal Cell) posts in New Delhi. Applicants must hold an LLB or BL degree from a recognised Indian institute. Those with five years of experience as an enrolled advocate will be preferred, as will candidates with a master's in law.

Preference will also go to candidates who have worked as a legal advisor in a government ministry, department, or public sector undertaking, with knowledge of litigation in such bodies. The age limit is 25 to 55 years.

Interested candidates must submit their application in the prescribed format to the Under Secretary (PF&PG) at the ministry's Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan office or email it by 19 August 2026.
