Mirzapur actor Anangsha Biswas recalls vulgar messages after season 1

Mirzapur actor Anangsha Biswas, who returns as Zarina in the upcoming Mirzapur: The Movie, has opened up about receiving vulgar and disturbing messages after the first season. Speaking to Hindi Rush, she said she was shaken by inappropriate emails and comments from people who assumed she was like her grey character in real life. She said she received messages asking, 'How much would you charge for one night?' and added that such messages filled her inbox.

Biswas also spoke about the challenges of filming intimate scenes with Pramod Pathak, who plays JP Yadav. On a podcast, she said the scenes were difficult because both actors are nervous in front of a 100-member crew, but Pathak was nervous too and helped her feel comfortable. She praised the Mirzapur crew for ensuring actors do not feel uncomfortable.

Mirzapur: The Movie continues the story from the web series and brings back Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu and Rasika Dugal. Co-producer Farhan Akhtar said the film was made due to fan demand.
