Naga Chaitanya’s Vrushakarma eyes Dussehra release, says director

Naga Chaitanya's upcoming mythical adventure thriller Vrushakarma is being planned for a Dussehra release, director Karthik Varma Dandu has told fans. The film's release date, however, depends entirely on the completion of its visual effects work, the director said, as the makers want to ensure the VFX meets their expectations.

Shooting for Vrushakarma is currently underway in Vizag. Naga Chaitanya plays a treasure hunter named Arjun, while Laapataa Ladies actor Sparsh Shrivastava portrays the antagonist. The film also features Meenaakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, along with Jayaram in a supporting role. Produced by BVSN Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, the film has music by B. Ajaneesh Loknath.

Akhil Akkineni's recent release Lenin was a super hit, and Nagarjuna is preparing for his 100th film outing. Vrushakarma has generated significant buzz through its promotional material.
