Nagabhushana to star in 1990s rural family drama

Actor Nagabhushana will lead a new Kannada family drama set in the 1990s. The film, tentatively titled Production No. 2, was announced on August 17, the actor's birthday. It is produced by SK Santhosh under the Kasturi Talkies banner.

Jagadish N Kolara, making his directorial debut, has written a story set in the villages of Mandya, Mysuru and KR Pete. The focus is on family relationships. Jagadish said Nagabhushana was drawn to the script because it offers a different character from his previous roles.

The screenplay is in its final stages. The team plans to hold the muhurat within two months and begin shooting soon after. Nagabhushana's upcoming projects also include Love Case, Anna From Mexico and Father.
