NASA finds liquid nitrogen flowing on Pluto’s surface

Scientists analysed images and other data from the 2015 flyby to detect evidence of cryovolcanic activity. The liquid nitrogen appears to have risen from Pluto's interior, hinting at a hidden ocean or heat source beneath the icy crust.
