Nellore Collector gives Rs 80,000 to woman entrepreneur

District Collector Himanshu Shukla handed over a cheque of Rs 80,000 to Eddula Kalyani, a woman entrepreneur from Jangalakandriga village in SPSR Nellore district, during the PGRS programme at Thikkana Pranganam on Monday.

The financial aid fulfilled a promise made during the ‘Palle Veekshana’ programme. Mr. Shukla said the programme not only addresses public grievances but also identifies talent and innovative ideas, especially women's small-scale business ventures in rural areas. Ms. Kalyani produces compost fertiliser that benefits farmers.

Ms. Kalyani expressed happiness and gratitude. DRDA Project Director Nagarajakumari was present at the event.
