Nivin Pauly frustrated over Benz schedule delays

Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly has expressed frustration over repeated postponements of shooting schedules for his upcoming Tamil film Benz, an action thriller set in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. The delays have forced him to maintain his character's beard look, preventing him from taking on other roles that require physical transformations.

In a recent interview, Pauly said he is 'fed up calling and waiting for a response' from the film's team. He added that due to his agreement with the production, he has had to continue with the beard look in his last two movies. The introduction glimpse of his character Walter, also called Twin Fish Walter, was released on June 5, 2025, but the film has not yet completed shooting. A 35-day schedule was reportedly pending as of January 2026.

Benz is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and written by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It stars Raghava Lawrence in the lead role and is billed as a prequel to Leo. The film is produced by G Squad, Passion Studios, and The Route, with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
