Karnataka voters can check ASDDO list, submit forms by August 8

Karnataka's Chief Electoral Officer, V Anbukkumar, has told voters flagged in the state's ASDDO category, those wrongly marked absent, shifted, dead or duplicate, or placed in an others bucket, to collect enumeration forms from their booth level or electoral registration officer and return them by 8 August, Deccan Herald reported. A constituency wise breakdown of the list can be checked at ceo.karnataka.gov.in, and the BLO mobile app used to process responses will be frozen once that deadline passes. Anyone who does not respond risks being left out when rolls are published in draft form on 17 August. Out of 5.54 crore electors sent forms, 1.11 crore fall into the ASDDO category, and roughly 4.43 crore forms have already been digitised. Separately, voters can file Form 6 to be added to the final rolls due on 19 October, a stage in which more than 34 lakh voters whose addresses could not be mapped will need to produce supporting documents.
