During a press interaction for her upcoming film Irumudi, she told reporters, 'I’m in a relationship with a guy who has great qualities.' The actress did not reveal further details about her partner but her straightforward statement has drawn wide attention.

Telugucinema.com adds that she plays Kaveri, a simple homemaker, in the film. She found the rural Telugu accent challenging and noted she is completely different from the character in real life. Irumudi, directed by Siva Nirvana and co-starring Ravi Teja, focuses on family emotions and a father-daughter bond. It releases on August 21.
